Community and well-being are life values for me, and at Fieldstone Law (formerly Frederikse Law), they’re at the forefront of everything we do. I recognize that a key aspect of my role is fostering an environment where clients feel engaged and well-supported during significant life events. It’s inspiring to provide people with the opportunity to receive the best support when it matters most, and I’m constantly exploring ways to redefine business in a way that benefits everyone.
My 25+ years of legal experience, including 14 years on Bay Street in Toronto helped me build a team that can serve my community and beyond in meaningful ways. We offer practical, thoughtful and cost-effective solutions in real estate, business law, and wills and estates.
I hold degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University, and after my undergraduate studies at Brock University, I began my career in commercial litigation. I understand the risks of poorly drafted agreements and work closely with clients to help them make informed decisions that feel right for them.
Community work is at the heart of what I do. I’ve served on the Board of Directors for Nelson Youth Centres and currently serve on the Board of ROCK (Reach Out Centre for Kids). I also chaired the Women in Leadership Committee at the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and was a board member of Food4Kids Halton. In addition, I am a member of various legal associations.
My most important role, however, is as a mother to my three amazing boys. I strive to be a role model for them, teaching the values of respect, empathy and responsibility. Through my involvement in their lives as scout leader and hockey coach, I aim to show them the importance of dedication, teamwork and giving back to the community. Watching them grow into compassionate and thoughtful community members who will make a positive impact on the world is my greatest source of pride and fulfillment.

I am dedicated to building lasting relationships founded on trust, personalized advice, and a deep commitment to serving my clients’ best interests. I recognize that a key part of what I do is providing my clients with confidence and peace of mind, and that our tailored solutions will empower them to live their best lives.
Born and raised in Buckinghamshire, England, I moved to Exeter for my undergraduate studies, completing a dual law degree—earning a British LLB in Exeter and a Maîtrise en Droit Européen in Rennes, France—before pursuing a Master’s in International Law, Conflict, and Security.
After falling in love with Canada during five summers working for Ontario Camping Ministries in Huntsville, I emigrated in 2020, and have since become a citizen. I completed the National Committee on Accreditation’s challenge exams for foreign-trained law graduates during the COVID-19 pandemic and now happily reside in Hamilton, Ontario.
A passionate traveller and musician, my interests align with my role as a reserve member of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Band, and I look forward to representing Canada in public performances.

I believe the relationships we build—both internally and externally—are what make our business a true asset to the community. In the end, these relationships shape our culture, drive practical and accessible solutions, build empathy, and enable us to deliver our best for clients.
After earning a BA from McMaster University, I received my LLB from the University of Kent in the UK. I was called to the Bar in June 2023 and focus my practice on Wills and Estates, Real Estate, and Corporate Law. My strengths in problem-solving and project management bring immense value to our clients by ensuring smooth transactions and consistent progress.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, event planning, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.

I am a lawyer at Fieldstone Law, with a strong belief that well-being plays a key role in building happier lives. I focus on getting to know my clients, understanding what matters most to them, and offering solutions for navigating some of life’s most challenging and important decisions. My goal is to help clients make informed and comfortable decisions across all areas of the practice.
Having lived in the Halton Region for over 16 years, I attended school in Oakville and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in history and political science. I then completed a Master’s in Political Science, focusing on international relations, conflict and security, and emerging areas of political administration. I earned my Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, where I developed interests in real estate, wills, municipal, and planning law.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling—having visited 12 countries so far—and spending time outdoors, walking or biking the many trails in Halton Region. I also enjoy playing basketball, swimming, going to the gym, playing chess, and relaxing with family and friends.

When I think about the client experience, I’m committed to bringing together all the moving pieces that create a seamless process and a successful outcome. Even when two transactions appear similar, the details matter — and thoughtful, precise execution is what makes the difference for our clients.
I am a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and completed the paralegal program at Sheridan College after earning my Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Toronto. I began my career in the fast‑paced environment of Bay Street before joining Fieldstone Law when it opened in Burlington in 2017.
I provide comprehensive support in all residential and commercial real estate transactions, including new construction and resale properties, condominiums, and vacant land.
Outside of work, I have a passion for building cars and enjoy spending time with family, friends, and our dogs, Aries and Dallas.

As a member of the legal support team at Fieldstone Law, I believe that precision, thoughtful insight, and a people-first mindset are essential to every matter we handle. My goal is to foster meaningful relationships with our clients by ensuring clear communication, building mutual trust, and providing consistent guidance throughout their Fieldstone experience.
I’m a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario, having earned my Paralegal Diploma from Seneca College following a Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies from the University of Toronto. I began my career at a fast-paced cross-border immigration law firm in Toronto, after spending three years globetrotting as a Flight Attendant with Air Canada, where I developed a strong foundation in navigating complex legal processes. Since joining Fieldstone Law in early 2025, I’ve embraced new challenges in corporate law and continue to expand my knowledge across evolving legal landscapes.
Beyond the office, I am a Latin dancer, musician, and enthusiastic reader—with a culinary passion so strong I am convinced I belong on the Cooking Network. I thrive on creativity and connection, both in and outside the legal profession.

With over 20 years of delivering exceptional client service, I excel at integrating diverse skills to create a seamless experience. Throughout my career, I have cultivated sector-specific expertise that directly enhances my effectiveness as an office administrator and legal assistant.
In hospitality, I mastered fast-paced multitasking, clear communication, and conflict resolution. Running a home-based business honed my financial management, time management and organization skills. My time in the school system strengthened my people management and conflict resolution skills…all while avoiding contracting pink eye even once!
My easy-going East Coast vibe, rooted in my New Brunswick upbringing, naturally builds rapport with colleagues and clients alike, fostering trust and collaboration. With two active boys, my conflict resolution and time management skills mentioned above have been nearly perfected! Being a personal Uber for my boys could easily be added to the resume, but with both boys driving now, I’m happily retired from that career.
I look forward to assisting our clients, both existing and new!

ARIES THE DOG
official GREETER
Every day, Aries fosters a strong sense of community, making Fieldstone Law feel like a home away from home for our clients.
He joined the team in 2019 as our official greeter and quickly captured everyone’s hearts! As an American Bulldog/Great Dane mix rescued from the Lakeshore Humane Society after a very rough start, Aries knows how to treat everyone with warmth and kindness. He’s always ready to welcome guests and guide them to the boardroom—unless he's enjoying his afternoon nap (snoring included).
(TIP: Bonus points if you bring this gentle giant a treat!)
